Fun activities in the area

Visit beautiful cities such as Amarante, Braga, Guimarães, Porto and authentic villages. Discover the surrounding nature and historic sights or nearby wineries in the Douro Valley for a lunch or tasting. Cycle the Ecopista along an old railway line, along the Rio Tamega and stop for a bite/drink at one of the stations. 

Jump & picnic in the area

• We have several river beaches / waterfalls within 10-15 minutes (e.g. Praia Fluvial de Fermil de Basto)
• Swim in the Rio Tamega with a springboard and grassy beach (20 min, Mondim de Basto)
• Swim in the large lake near Fafe in 30 min (there is also Aquapark Fratelli)
• Swim in the small lakes and waterfalls of Alvão nature park in 45 min (Piocas de Baixo/ Rio Olo)
• Swim in the sea and surf an hour away (Praia da Apúlia, Matosinhos)
