Reservation is not mandatory. However, if you want to be sure of a spot in the high season, it is wise. Especially for the camper & caravan sites and the furnished rental tents.

Our camping rates

Low season (April-May-June-September): 20 euro per night for a spacious campsite on the grass terrace including electricity (10 ampere), warm shower, super wifi, drinkable spring water and 5 euro per night per person
High season (July-August): 25 euro per night for a spacious campsite on the grass terrace including electricity (10 ampere), warm shower, super wifi, drinkable spring water and 5 euro per night per person

Cars can be parked for free in the parking lot. We have a spring that provides natural drinking water and warm showers via sustainable solar collectors. Access to the swimming pool and other facilities is included in the price. And the orange trees provide a bit of fruit with your breakfast!

Reservations in June, July, August, and September are for a minimum of 2 nights. We are a place where you can relax and truly enjoy. Not for come-and-go. Contact us if your stay is longer than 4 weeks or if you arrive with a group larger than 5 people. To give everyone space, we allow a maximum of 5 people and 2 camping equipment per site.

Our fully furnished Big Bell tent rates 2025 (from 3 nights low season and 7 nights high season)

Low season: 240 euro for 3 nights/ 560 euro for 7 nights
High season: 770 euro for 7 nights (July and August)
5 euro per night per person
Adding and setting up an extra tent for children: 70 euro per week/stay (1, 2 or 3 children)
Prices include drinking water, wifi, electricity, gas, mini fridge/kitchenette, beds with bedding, towels and final cleaning

Extra single days:

80 euro per extra night for a furnished 6m Tipi Tent in the low season
110 euro per extra night for a furnished 6m Tipi Tent in the high season

The months April, May, June and September are low season, July and August are high season.

We have natural drinking water from our own spring at 100 meters deep. Save costs and the environment and keep plastic bottles for another place.
We have a very large vegetable garden. Onions, garlic, potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, peppers, cabbage, etc., and also eggs can be obtained from us at a small price. The proceeds go to the neighbors who help us.
Babies up to 2 years may stay for free.
Laundry can be done for a fee of 6 euro (including eco-friendly detergent)
We do not have a deposit for chemical toilets/waste. That can be done at Intermarche in Cabeceiras.
Rent an electric mini fridge with freezer as a minibar in your tent (20 euro per week/stay)
A dog/pet is allowed, please keep it on a leash and not inside the pool fences (2,50 euro per night)
Visitors who do not stay overnight or guests who want to arrive earlier or stay longer than check-in or check-out times are welcome upon agreement (5 euro daily rate)
We have two single-person hammock tents for rent for guests who want to experience a unique overnight stay in the open air
We are working on installing solar panels and a charging point. Electric car charging can be done nearby in the village of Gandarela (2 charging points) and in other nearby towns.
We gladly support guests arriving by train or bus; let us know when you arrive in Gandarela de Basto, and if we are available we will gladly pick you up for free from the bus stop.
Payment: stays can be paid in cash upon arrival or transferred to our account (PT50003502400002815923016); food/drink at the bar should be paid in cash (there is an ATM in the village)
We ask for a 25% deposit and the remaining payment in the week of arrival for reservations of 250 euro and more and for furnished tents.
In the high season (July and August) cancellations must be notified at least 4 weeks in advance, otherwise we will count on your payment/arrival. For cancellations within 4 weeks we will count on 50% of the reservation payment and in the week of arrival we will count on full payment.
Note: Our campsite has elevation differences and multiple terraces. Walking around our campsite is physically challenging, so if you have mobility issues we recommend against visiting.
